If you really sit and think about it, you can make Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade Chronicles fit in the same universe.

If anything, Xenoblade can be a side-story to Xenosaga; I mean, they never really explained what happened to Lost Jerusalem/Earth, did they? ;)
